Ken Stinziano

Ken has over thirty-five years work experience occupying senior and mid-level executive management positions.   He held these positions with large investor-owned and small businesses.  His management experience covers a broad array of business functions including supply chain, procurement, materials management, contract administration, sales, human resources, project and construction management activities. 

Ken was a mid-level supply chain executive for FirstEnergy, one of the country's largest investor-owned electric and energy management companies.  In this position, Ken directed section and department activities responsible for the procurement of products and services in excess of $200 million annually; and, inventory management activities covering fossil power generation and energy delivery material inventory in excess of $60 million.  With FirstEnergy, Ken was recognized as an expert in strategic sourcing and contract negotiations having sourced and negotiated over $1 billion in contracts for products and services required by FirstEnergy and its predecessor companies.   Ken was also recognized as a change agent because of his leadership and participation in numerous change initiatives involving process improvements, application of technology in the workplace and dealing with the resultant organizational impacts. 

Ken provided senior level executive leadership and had profit and loss responsibility while serving as a top executive for Interlake Industries, a metal stamping company located in Willoughby, Ohio.  As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Ken was responsible for all sales, marketing, operations and administrative activities for this small business comprised of 75 employees with $10 million in annual sales.   Ken also served as a senior executive for Terrene Construction Company, an underground utility construction company located in Beachwood, Ohio.  As Vice President, Ken was responsible for the competitive bidding and field operations related to open cut and tunnel construction projects ranging in size from $2.5 million to $7.0 million.  Annual sales were $12 million.   

Ken's work experience has enabled him to develop competencies and deep experience in relationship management; risk management; strategic sourcing; contract negotiations; project and construction management; and inventory and materials management. 

Ken attended Cleveland State's Fenn College of Engineering and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BCE) and he attended Baldwin Wallace College and graduated with a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
